I started training with Bob February 23, 2015 weighing almost 250 pounds, sad to say it wasn’t the heaviest I had been in my life, but I was not happy with where I was and I knew it was time to get serious about weight loss and changing my lifestyle. To say the whole experience has been life-changing sounds cliché but is not an exaggeration. Being extremely overweight for so long, achieving a healthy weight seemed impossible, an insurmountable goal that was beyond discouraging. I am happy and proud to say that through hard work and Bob’s expertise and guidance, I continue to accomplish some tremendous weight loss goals, just over 80 pounds to date! I have learned so much about health and fitness along the way, truly making great strides to live the healthy and active lifestyle I have always wanted to live.
Having tried on my own in the past, I was overwhelmed by what to do, start a fad diet, buy an expensive piece of equipment? I reached out to Bob online and I am so glad that I did. Living in Philadelphia, utilizing social media to connect with Bob on an almost weekly basis has been invaluable. We use Skype to discuss my progress, nutritional questions, and most importantly to visualize technique on exercises. Even though I live in Pennsylvania, I can easily obtain training videos from Bob’s Facebook page. Bob is always connected, sending me emails with detailed images of how to use equipment at my local gym such as the TRX suspension training (my favorite!), BOSU ball, and resistance bands. I always joke that he is the encyclopedia of exercises; he seems to have an endless supply and modifications that keep me from getting bored and continue to challenge my body! Accountability has been a huge part of my fitness challenge. Bob keeps me accountable with texting and email, where I can check in for weight and cardio goals for the day, adjusting diet and exercise along the way to stay on course, or just get some well timed words of encouragement.
His fitness services and overall knowledge on the subject of health and wellness are invaluable. Weight loss and achieving a healthy lifestyle are no longer out of reach for me. I can do things now I never could like 20 mile plus bike rides, hiking, paddle boarding and even some running. I can live my life and not feel weighed down or held back by my size. I can’t wait to continue my training with Bob and working towards my other fitness goals.

My husband and I started training with Bob in March. For financial reasons, we could not continue indefinitely, but Bob gave us the tools to get started. And he graciously gave us lots of tips on how to manage the training on our own. Bob is a wonderful trainer, not only very knowledgable in his field, but also very personable, positive and friendly. He trained us in our home and often brought different exercise equipment with him and always changed up our work outs. For us, it was important to feel comfortable and at ease in this process and we always did. He gave us some great local tips too on things to do with the kids. You can tell he’s the type of guy that will help you even if that exact transaction does not put a dollar in his pocket. He often helped us on his own time by sending us links to various items he thought might be helpful in our gym, but at the same time he taught us how to work with just our bodies. Overall, a really nice person and someone we consider a friend. Reasonably priced too.

I have trained with Bob for over 6.5 years. I have gotten stronger and slimmer, while thoroughly enjoying it. When I started training with Bob, I hadn’t exercised in years and was very self-conscious about the condition I was in. Bob made me feel very comfortable and was very encouraging. Training with Bob has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am very pleased with the results and plan to continue my training with Bob.

I have been working with Bob for about six years. Over the past few years he has really helped me learn how to keep my workout routines fresh and exciting (as I easily get bored of doing the same thing). He always stays on top of innovative ways to work the body and get the best results tailored to you. I really appreciate the time and effort he takes into providing personal recommendations and tips and they have ultimately helped me achieve my goals. I have been working with Bob a little over eight years. Bob improved my overall strength and stamina. He has improved my breathing control and cardio by taking me on hiking trips. I do not like to work-out but Bob always pushes me to workout unique ways. We do cardio, balance, strength, and circuit training. We walk with weights and do upper body exercises as we walk. I have been training with Bob for a year and I feel significantly better, both physically and emotionally. He has helped improve my balance, strength, mobility and overall wellness. He has taught me that exercise is not all about machines. I can go home and implement what I have learned using household items as supplements. He makes working out fun, always switching up the routines so that they aren’t boring. Thank you Bob for helping me help myself!

Over the past several years Bob has taken a holistic approach to my weight training through personally designed and implemented training programs, nutritional guidance, and cross training advice. As I have been working with Bob my goals continue to expand from initially getting physically fit and losing weight, to participating in a mud run, and now to hiking the Grand Canyon. Bob takes into consideration my current strengths and weaknesses, the time I have available to train, and the specific requirements of my next challenge. Each program designed by Bob builds upon my strengths and Bob’s positive and enthusiastic approach drive me to work harder to reach my goals. Since working with Bob and his well-rounded approach my physical fitness has improved significantly, my health has seen drastic improvement, and life’s stressors have less impact on my health. After going through several trainers, I came upon Bob by referral. My specific need is to be a well rounded athlete, and to keep myself in shape for the Army. Over the past several years, he consistently delivers a dynamic program to work with my strengths and weaknesses, with remarkable results. Between the workouts and nutritional guidance, I lost 30lb, and I am substantially more fit. I started working with Bob after undergoing treatment for Breast Cancer. After working on regaining my strength and mobility lost during treatment I decided to continue working with Bob for general training and fitness. Bob was always acutely aware of my appropriate workout level and pushed me if I didn’t work to that level. He also took the time to know what I wanted to work on and if there were any problems that needed to be worked on. Bob is easy to work with and very professional . Susan McCullagh
